The Olive Barn was built with the classic Kiwi holiday in mind. This American-style barn accommodates three to four families or large groups (sleeps 10+) and was designed to provide a relaxed environment that is child & pet friendly. Located on one hectare of flat undulating land surrounded by young olive trees, there is room galore and it is smack in the middle of some of the best beaches, fishing & diving in New Zealand.  One of the most fun and most cost effective ways to enjoy a Kiwi Christmas holiday.

 

The perfect place to enjoy family and friends and let the kids go for it. Concrete floors so no need to worry about the mess. Only 500 metres from the long white sands, dunes and surf of Tokerau Beach, or just a  three minute drive to the beautiful neighbouring Whatuwhiwhi Beach, a quiet sheltered bay perfect for young children. Not to mention  the other close by beaches in beautiful Doubtless Bay - Matai Bay & Rangiputa. Only a two-minute drive to the local dairy/liquor shop and a 15-minute drive to Mangonui, Cable Bay & Cooper Beach where you will find cafe's & shops.

 

The Olive Barn is perfect for hosting groups for special events such as weddings and birthdays. It is a cost effective way to accommodate groups of 10+ people for short to medium term stays whether for business or pleasure, and there is heaps of room inside and out for you to set-up additional sleeping such as air beds, tents etc.

 

The Olive Barn also makes an ideal home-base for the avid fishermen. Plenty of room to park boats, fish cleaning area, and only minutes away from three popular launching spots on the peninsula offering north, east and south locations depending on the prevailing winds.
